Head Of Corporate Tax

The organisation

Our client is an international High Tech company and global player in its sector. To strengthen its finance & accounting team in the Munich based headquarter, we are currently looking for a Head of Corporate Tax (m/f).

The position

• Defining and implementing up-to-date tax policies and tax efficient structures in order to secure tax optimized position
• Ensuring that tax policies are in line with the latest legislation
• Detecting, actively managing and reporting all tax risks to ensure tax compliance, minimize tax exposure and fulfill external reporting requirements
• Ensuring the implementation and development of transfer pricing policy
• Supervising and steering quarterly tax reporting process
• Steering legal structure of the group jointly with Legal and Corporate Finance
• Creating and maintaining a transparent reporting system for current and deferred taxes as integral part of reporting
• Providing tax support to business in tender process and project execution
• Steering and controlling engagements of external tax advisors
• Providing input to HR on Corporate Tax related topics (job profiling, competence mapping)
• Driving the creation of a tax community (internal/external)

Candidate profile

• University degree in business administration with emphasis on accounting & taxation
• Minimum 8 years of significant tax management experience
• Ability to work and report within a multinational organization
• Deep understanding of tax reporting requirements
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Good team player with ability to work independently at all organizational levels
• Intercultural and interpersonal skills for communicating and building relationships with multiple levels and (internal and external) interfaces
• Excellent verbal and written German & English
