Our Compensation & Benefits team currently seeks to strengthen the team with an experienced International Compensation Manager.

The position

The International Compensation Manager works within the corporate team to ensure that our business units (BUs) and countries provide competitive, market aligned Compensation & Benefits programs that support the company’s strategic objectives.

The position is located at our corporate headquarters in Amsterdam and you report to the Director of Compensation & Benefits. You will be joining a multinational and multicultural organization that is committed to your personal and professional development.

Tasks & Responsibilities

In this role, you lead the roll out of our Total Reward strategy, working with BU HR managers, corporate and country teams to create harmonized and effective compensation and benefit programs, taking into account local country conditions.

This involves the ongoing maintenance and adaptation of the internal job evaluation system, along with the overseeing of the annual performance and salary review process, and the setting of bonuses and objectives.

You also prepare internal salary analyses, statistics and reports, including plausibility checks, and communicate findings to HR Management

Further activities include market comparisons and the design and implementation of internal and external benchmarks.

You participate in Compensation & Performance Management projects and act as a key contact for HR Business Partners on Compensation & Performance Management related questions/queries.

Candidate profile

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of integrity and collaboration, along with the ability to lead and influence at the executive level. To apply, you must have a relevant educational background and at approximately 10 years of successful Compensation experience within a large international organization with multiple structures and a matrix environment.

It is important that you are able to apply a conceptual, analytical and result-oriented approach. At the same time you should be confident and assertive, with good communication and team-working skills. Fluent written and spoken English is essential, and any other languages are an advantage. You should have good MS Office skills.
