Senior Manager HR

The organisation

Our Client is a is a global biopharmaceutical company who seeks to deliver truly innovative and life-changing drugs for their patients. We are looking for a Senior HR Manager (m/f) in Munich.

The position

• Act as Business Partner for an assigned population to ensure that ongoing HR operational day-today support is provided by the team, including the staffing, movement and termination of employees; guidance on performance management/improvement; team development end effectiveness; basic benefit clarification; compensation management; development of staff; talent planning process, etc.
• Partner with the Business and builds credibility by demonstrating an understanding of the business, issues, challenges and corresponding implications for HR
• Proactively and respectfully challenge influence, and coach management on their human resource and other decisions and actions
• Input and partly own key HR processes and practices and their implementation and execution across the organization, including total rewards, performance management, talent reviews, staffing and retention
• Represent both employee and management interests by partnerig with each to address needs, concerns and expectations; resolve issues to maintain and/or improve productivity.
• Partner with HR colleagues on cross-functional initiatives to build and implement HR programs and policies

Candidate profile

• Extensive progressive HR Generalist experience
• Degree in HR or Business or related field
• Fluent in English and German
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence amongst different levels, functions and geographies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated client leadership as a business partner
• Experience in pharmaceuticals is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
