Our client is selling many products worldwide, including baby and pre-school toys, baby monitors, mechanical and electronic games, consumer electronics, children''s arts and crafts products, and a vast range of toys suited to girls or boys. He is inspiring dreams in kids of all ages with trendy brands.

To handle all international clients we are looking for an International Business Development Manager. The position can be performed from Home Office in all European countries.

Position

  • Set up strategic account as well as marketing plans with partners
  • Update and submit monthly forecast planning. As well as domestic as on FOB basis
  • Submit weekly sales, and any other relevant, updates
  • Manage actively the pricing strategy
  • Work closely with local licensors as Disney, Pokémon, Henson etc. and/or their agents
  • Work closely with back offices to achieve a best in class cooperation with customers and be involved in production and logistics issues (when present)
  • Participate in relevant Preview and Toy Fairs like Dis Toy (London), Hong Kong (October and January), Int. Toy Fair (Nuremberg)
  • Reporting to the General Manager Europe

Profil

  • Education; an International Business University education.
  • Track record preferable with a branded FMCG or Toy company
  • Experience in managing multiple brands and outline successful marketing strategies
  • Sales experience with Export trading
  • Managing existing markets as well as ability to open up new markets
  • Managing distributors as well on an operation as well as on a strategic level
  • Proven experience in successfully negotiate trading terms, conditions and contracts.
  • Have understanding of production, FOB shipments and International trading
  • Ability to have a business conversation in at least three different languages. Preferable English, French and Spanish.
  • Prepared to travel on a regular basis (around 50%)
