The position

For one of our clients we are looking for a International Executive Director COO - Marine Procurement Logistics & Special Project Freight Forwarding. 

Join a fast growing global logistics powerhouse! Seeking a dynamic Executive Director to spearhead quality revenue growth, and market dominance in marine procurement logistics and special project forwarding.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Craft high-impact strategies for marine logistics & freight forwarding.
• Build lasting relationships with industry leaders & clients, and vendors.
• Drive business expansion & pivotal partnerships.
• Exceed predefined objectives while enhancing overall profitability, both in financial terms and through strategic non-monetary gains.
• Provide insightful market analyses & operational reports with your teams.
• Lead and collaborate across departments for streamlined service delivery.

Candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in marine procurement operational logistics & sales.
• Deep knowledge of logistics, supply chain & maritime shipping markets.
• Proven leadership & communication skills.
• Willingness to travel & adept with relevant software and the company’s advanced digitization.
• Fluent in English, fluency in Greek an absolute us.
