From Dux Nova we take care of the recruitment and selection for the vacancy of Head of Global Quality Control & Assurance. We are looking for self-starting leader who will be responsible for redifining, implementing and managing the NewCold QA/QC processes.

The position

To support the further worldwide growth and corporate structure, NewCold is looking for a qualified candidate to lead the Quality Control & Assurance program in harmony with the Development Organization. 

This ideal candidate will possess all skills & experience to redefine, implement and manage the NewCold QA/QC processes within the NewCold development organization. The Development Organization is responsible for the planning, design and realization of our cold storages worldwide, from concept design to final commissioning and handover to the internal client, NewCold Operations.

These projects are typically fulfilled by one general contractor and several specialist (direct appointed) contractors such as for racking, cooling, material handling equipment and so forth. The goal is to ensure that worldwide our projects are consistently and systematically delivered in line with the quality standards as set out by NewCold, including documentation supporting this.

This role reports to the VP Construction Europe, Asia Pacific.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Evaluate current QA/QC standards and processes along with the NewCold way of working.
• Set up quality management processes to guarantee compliant delivery of our projects.
• Communicate and implement these processes.
• Functionally responsible for the staff implementing the quality process on site.
• Audit the adherence to the process on our sites worldwide.
• Assist the project staff in reviewing QA/QC documentation issued to NewCold for approval.
• Assist and advise in recruitment / selection of project staff related to QA/QC.
• Assist in preparing the content of the quality standards that govern our projects.

Candidate profile

For this position we are looking for an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset. You have a degree in Degree in Building & Construction engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent at Bachelor/Master level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field of Quality Assurance in a similar role either for an end user or for a contractor with a proven history of both self-drive and successful team management.

Furthermore, the preferred candidate:

• Has excellent skills in demonstrating to stakeholders the importance and benefits of implementing a robust QA/QC process
• Is a self-starter and a team player with strong leadership abilities
• Is willing to travel internationally and able to work in the head office in Breda, apart from travelling
• Is comfortable working in a dynamic work environment.
• Has outstanding communication skills

The offer

We offer a challenging position within an international context in a growing and ambitious organization. The salary is a maximum of € 120.000 gross per year supplemented with a secondary package including a bonus and a company car.
