The position

Hitachi Construction Machinery is looking for a Manager Sales Planning & Order Management with a passion for sales, data, and technology, as well as strong communication and team-building skills.

Main goal of the position
The Manager Sales Planning & Order Management at Hitachi Europe is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sales planning process and ensuring efficient order management to meet customer demands. This role involves demand forecasting, order processing, and cross-functional coordination to optimize sales performance and operational efficiency.

Tasks & responsibilities

This role is a critical link between sales and operations. Therefore, it is essential to stimulate close collaboration between your team and production planning.

Candidate profile

  • degree in Business Administration or related field;
  • proven experience (+5 years) in sales operations management in a B2B setting, preferably in the manufacturing industry;
  • proven experience in leading and managing teams;
  • preferably a APICS (or similar) certification;
  • demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving change and delivering results in a dynamic environment;
  • excellent communicator with influencing skills to manage relations with internal as well as external key stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
  • strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation;
  • proficiency in IT systems and software relevant to sales operations, such as CRM, ERP and BI tools.
